one on ones and critique
Critique/understand/mock up
my second mock up was critiqued first by fellow students in a formal critique and then by Caroline during one on ones. the feedback I received from students was that my communication symbols/icons were to big and/or to bold and they were to prominent on the page. they also discussed whether my inconsistency in the fonts used for my headings was a let down and I decided that it was something that needed to be addressed. Caroline told me to focus my developments on my type hierarchy, making the headings consistent, the body copy smaller and reducing the size of the communication icons. she also suggested that I experiment with a sans serif font.

New Research and New Ideas
Define/Ideate/making/Ideate
Armed with my new set of research and set up a page defining different
visual elements of the 3 signs for each site.
I also gathered more visual examples that I felt were honing in on a few particular styles.
I have produced a set of three A5 designs I fell depict my sites much more closely.

Critique and a Re-Think
Understand/Define/Critique
After some class Critique I have realised where my Collages failed - they did not represent "cinema"
after being forced to re think some of my ideas I have decided I need to gather more information on my sites, and realised the penthouse will not fit in with my project very well, and I have decided to go with the Roxy instead.
Im off to gather further information on the Roxy cinema and my other sites (the lighthouse and reading)

I have Finished Visiting and Researching my 3 sets. I am in the process of comparing my research to decide on the 3 best secondary communication points.
I have decided on a stronger theme, best cinemas for first dates.
my next goal is to put together my 100 words, I already have the information to do so

We discussed our 3 sets of 3 choices to give and gain feedback. My ideas are good but my theme needs to be stronger.
